Family Photo Sessions

With my photo-journalistic approach to shooting, it is my goal to tell the story of your family.  Above anything else, I strive to capture the connection, the playfulness, the love that lies within each family.  Upon booking your session, we’ll brainstorm ideas to make the session undeniably YOU.  Whether it’s at your favorite family location, doing your favorite activity or simply in your own home.
At your session I’d like you to treat me as an old friend.  The more comfortable you are, the more you act like I’m not even there, the better.  I want to get who you truly are as a family.
In a family session I try to balance between portraits and candids.  Of course I want you to have beautiful images to hang on your walls and send to your mom, but I also want to be able to freeze time for you in a way you’ll cherish for years to come.  Each family has such a unique and beautiful connection.  I can’t wait to meet yours.

Maternity Sessions

Expecting a baby is such a life changing experience.  There is so much excitement and so many emotions involved.  As a maternity photographer I try to capture this precious time between you and your partner.  I know what an amazing journey pregnancy and motherhood is.  Let me document your journey.  I would love to be able to capture the things you enjoy most in your pregnancy.  Your bed, your home, going on walks, eating ice cream… whatever it may be.  I want you to be able to look back on your pregnancy and relive your journey through your images.
Session includes high quality edited images on a disc with printing rights.

Birth Sessions

Birth is absolutely my passion in life.  Having the oportunity to combine my two passions together and photograph your birth is such an amazing honor.  I respect all your choices and options during the birth process.  I have given birth in a hospital with drugs and I have given birth completely natural in the comfort of my own home.  Both of my births changed my life in such unimaginable ways.
As a woman, giving birth is such a defining moment in your life.  Allow me to document the most amazing adventure of your life.  I will be there for you in any way you need me.  I am a friend who lends support, I am a rock to lean on when it gets tough, I am a silent observer to you and your husband experiencing the most authentic moments in your relationship.  Most importantly I am there to document your birth at ever step of the way.  I will allow you to design your birth session however you are comfortable with.  I will come early, I will stay late.
I will be able to document your birth in a way that you can’t document it yourself.  I will be able to capture your emotion the first time you and your partner see your sweet baby.  I will be able to catch your partner being your coach and the tender moments together that labor produces.  I will be able to get your family’s reaction to meeting their new grandbaby, sibling, niece or nephew.  I will be able to capture the setting of your birth, whatever it may be.
Whether you are having a c-section or a birth at home, I am honored to be a part of your big day.

Session includes all high quality images taken, edited in black and white on a disc with printing rights.

*Birth sessions come with a lot of questions.  Please feel free to call, text, email or meet with me if you are toying with the idea of a birth session.  I promise to hear you out with any concerns or questions you may have.  I will make sure you are comfortable with every minute of your birth session and I will help you out in anyway I can.  I can’t wait to hear from you.

Newborn Photo Session

Having a new baby in the house was the most miraculous time in my life.  Those first few weeks go by in such a blur.  Let me come to your home where your new little family is cozy and comfortable.  Let me catch those fleeting moments filled with things you might not always remember but you never want to forget.
Session includes high quality edited images on a disc with printing rights and 25 custom birth announcements printed through a professional printing lab.

The Birth Package

Booking a maternity, birth and newborn session with me together has a few advantages.  When you book these 3 sessions together you are much more comfortable which will make your photos much more authentic and beautiful.  For me to be able to document your journey in these 3 important stages will be absolutely priceless to you for years to come.
*Birth package price may be split in two payments in the time frame of maternity session to newborn session.

*I offer pre and post baby maternal support to all of my birth clients.  Along with documenting your life during this process, I want you to feel supported through it all.  If you have any questions about your birth or any worries, please feel free to talk to me about it.  I am here for you in any way you need me, that goes far above just your photos.
I have studied birth for the past 2 and a half years, I have a small library of books you’re welcome to borrow.  I have attended birth classes from two of the leading midwives in the area and completed the bradley method class during my second pregnancy.  I have experience in labor support as well as lactation support.  I have worked with some of the most respected birth attendants in the area.  I respect all woman’s choices to create her best birth. I understand how important this time is and I am here for you every step of the way.
