The Good Lord has been filling my heart lately. It’s amazing how much love one heart can hold. I have so many blessings to be grateful for. So many unbelievable blessings. Sometimes I’m surprised by how much God loves me. He shows me love in so many ways.
I feel love in the girls sweet faces in the mornings.
I feel love as I smooch my husband off to work.
I feel love in the “thank you”s I hear throughout the day.
I feel love by sweet little arms wrapped around my legs, wet kisses on my face, and soft round cheeks on my lips.
I feel love in my healthy body that’s able hold my children.
I feel love as I rock my Stelly to sleep.
I feel love as I chat with Harlo about what’s on her mind.
I feel love as I sit on my porch watching my girls frolic and laugh and play.
I feel love as I soothe an owie.
I feel love as I prepare dinner.
I feel love as I smooch my husband home from work.
I feel love in shrieks and squeals and quick little feet on my kitchen floor.
I feel love in freshly tubbed babies.
I feel love in overhearing daddy’s bedtime stories.
I feel love as I lay in my babies’ bed and 4 little arms and 4 little legs wrap around me and quiet little breath flutters onto my neck.
I feel love as I crawl into bed after a labor filled day, into the arms of my one true love.
I feel love as I count my blessings before drifting off to sleep.
I feel love as a little body makes her way to my arms each night.
And it repeats all again in the morning.
As a mama who’s home with her kids all day, it’s certainly not always easy. It’s loud, it’s demanding, it’s always someone else’s needs before your own. But I can’t tell you how blessed I am to feel love all throughout my day. In all the things I do.
Every single day, I am grateful for the love.Recommend
